SKF and DUCATI Corse

The cooperation between SKF and Ducati began in the forties from the development of ‘Cucciolo’, which means ‘puppy’ in Italian, a model destined to become famous all over the world. Since then, the two Companies have overcome the difficulties and the challenges that the fast development of the technologies applied to the two wheelers world requires. During this time, SKF and Ducati have remained close thanks to the flexibility that this world demands.

With the Ducati in the World Superbike Championship the partnership has been consolidated and SKF has been able to supply high-level solutions, but above all, we have developed, together with Ducati, the necessary competencies and products to give added value to demanding ‘Ducatisti’.

The story continues with new Ducati Desmosedici adventure in the Moto GP world championship. SKF has taken part in this new challenge since the beginning. New solutions have been applied and continuous development is under way with the Ducati engineers.

Today, SKF is linked to Ducati by a strong relationship based on trust, credibility and co-operation. In 2007 Ducati Corse won the constructors' and teams' World titles and SKF congratulates the Ducati Team on its success.
